Bridge Design TechneX'15 Challenge

Civil Simplified presents the next Civil Simplfied Bridge Design Challenge - India's Biggest Civil Engineering Competition in association with TechneX'15 an annual technical symposium in India organized by IIT (BHU) Varanasi

Civil Simplified Bridge Design Challenge is a training-and-competition series that helps you learn technical skills and compete with students from across the country. The objective of the challenge is to help students develop an understanding towards innovative next generation technologies and techniques.

Structure of the event

• Regional Level Workshops: Civil Simplified Bridge Design, Fabrication and Testing Workshops in association with TechneX'15, IIT (BHU) Varanasi would be organized in your campus.
• Regional Level Competitions: After the workshop, a regional level competition will be held among the participants to shortlist the toppers.
• Grand Final Competition: Top participants from each regional center would participate in a Grand Final on 1st of March during TechneX'15 an annual technical symposium in India organized by IIT (BHU) Varanasi to compete with each other and bring out the champions

About Bridge Design Workshop:

In the Bridge Design workshop, students will practically learn how a Bridge is Engineered. After clearing all Bridge related concepts, Civil Engineering experts from Civil Simplfied will guide the participants to design a Bridge framework using CAD-based software. Based on their CAD design, students will fabricate a model Balsa wood bridge to perform load and other tests on the Bridge!
